Concrete is the rock obtained from the mixture of three basic elements: cement, water and aggregates. In order to increase its properties, various additives (hardening, plasticizing fluidizer) are added to its composition. The transport of fluid concretes with a compaction of more than 50 mm is done by a concrete mixer, those with a compaction of less than 50 mm are transported by a dump truck.

Proper vertical transport of concrete is done with cranes / concrete pumps. The material thus transported is unloaded into wheelbarrows and distributed in formwork. The maximum duration of a transport must not exceed 30 minutes, and the equipment must be watertight to avoid contamination of the concrete.
